| Keeping up with the remote control | | Why oh why is it so difficult to keep up with the television remote control? I thought it was cool that my stereo came with a remote until it disappeared, lol. I know there are all these little things out there that you can get to attach here and there and everywhere to keep track but we know that isn't going to work. If that was all it took we would never have to search high and low only to locate the cordless phone in the bathroom, lol!How did modern convenience become so inconvenient? But it's ok, I have discovered the secret to finding the remote. It's very simple, just look for something else. When you start moving things around looking for a different item it will appear out of nowhere as if to say "Are you by any chance looking for me?" | |
| | I lost my remote control for my televison | | I searched everywhere but couldn't find it anywhere. I managed to get it on Channel 5 and then I had to go up down to 1 or up to 71, the channels I use. Then it got on channel 700 and I moved it down as far as I could like to 100. However it won't move back to the channels I like. I rang a television installer. I told me to search the make of the television and to find a compatible remote for it on line. I was delighted when the new remote control arrived. I put batteries in it and it worked straight away. I am so pleased. Have you ever lost anything in your home?

| Losing the remote control dont you just hate it when that happens? | | Sometimes I lose the remote control like I'm sure every body dose sometimes, and its kind of annoying when that happens, because I have cable and the cable box I have isn't really made for manual tuning or channel changing, because some cable boxes dont have any buttons on them, so when I lose the remote I cant really change the channel even if I try to change the channel myself, thats why I hate it when I cant find the remote lol, and one of the first places I look is under the couch cushions becuse most of the time thats were it is but sometimes its not there, and I have to keep searching only to find it some where right under my nose lol.[em]lol[/em]Don't you just hate it when you lose the remote?[em]rolleyes[/em] | |

I think evil spirits have stollen it and are hiding it from me until i become so weak that I sell my soul to the devil. I could have in the time it took me to look for the remote have actually turned the TV over manually. But its no the point it was here 20 mins ago on the end of the sofa so where has it gone? which one of you has stolen it? | |
