| | My Big Boy is leaving me sooner than I wish would be..... | | My friends and family know that my Big Boy Ninja has cancer and one huge tumor has already been removed not even 2 months ago. The cancer is fibrous and there is nothing they can do for him. We have been waiting and giving him pain medicines to help him make it through the days and nights.
He had surgery for the tumor but all of the tendrils were not able to be removed.
We were told he had maybe 2 months left!
The tumor would rapidly come back....Which It has...
I am beside myself in grief over losing my precious boy. He has been my constant companion, my shadow, and my baby.
I was just told yesterday by his doctor that it is up to me know as to when I can let him go.
I don't want to let him go! He is only 8 years old and I've had him 7 of that. I should have at least another 7 years with him.
Everyone that has met him loves him. He is a very good boy.
I will be taking him for a day trip to see his grandma for the last time soon.I am grateful for the years I have got to be with him. For all of the joys he has given to me and this family.
I am just so distraught over losing him.
I want to wait until my husband is home...if I can. If Ninja does not get much worse... | |

| Put Your Big Boy Pants On | | Everything I said about my man yesterday, I officially unsay tonight. A few weeks ago I was approached by a recruiter offering an opportunity 400 miles away. My man (now ex-man) supported me into following it. I was offered the job and then he supported me into deciding to taking it. We talked about him in the long term moving out with me. He met my family. I was supposed to meet his parents tomorrow. And then, tonight, he says that he doesn't think he'll ever be able to come, that it wouldn't be feasible, that we haven't been together all that long (6 months), that he wouldn't be able to live far from his family. I respect his decision, but at some point, when you hit 30, you have to come to a point where you put your big boy pants on and realize that relationships proceed to serious places where you have to share love and trust. Apparently since he can say goodbye to me so easily, he doesn't have those feelings for me. Is it commitment-phobia, fear of losing his comfort blankie, or is he just not that into me? Does anyone ever have a happily ever after? | |
| | Alex got a big boy hair cut!!! | | My 4 year old Alex has Autism and if many of you know sensory is a big issue. and Haircuts are out of the question. well i talked to Alex about getting a hair cut. he refussed and then finally gave in. he did pretty darn good until we got near his ears! i had to pin him down like a wresler!! | Man What I Would Not Do For Big Boy double-decker | | I can remember when I was little my mom and dad would take the family out to Big Boy's for a delicious meal. Their double decker was large and the sauce was simply out of this world as well as their onion rings. Then when I got older I moved out of state, and lost trick of the Big Boy. | | YAY! Finally a BIg Boy.... | | I was so excited yesterday. My fiance and I took the baby and our dogs for a walk. Well while we were walking I noticed that our pup Dozer (14 months) peed like a boy dog. Usually he just squats and goes, but he actually lifted his leg. So when we came home I figured he would continue to pee like a boy, and low and behold he peed like a girl dog. AAh. Why does he pee like a boy when he isn't home? | | My Big Boy Max | | I always wanted a Siamese cat since my grandparents had one named Max. I don't know why but this was the only Cat I actually liked before. So when I moved out of my parents house I got myself a Kitten. I named him Max Jr. I've had him for almost five years now. I had other cats along the way but they all seemed to have run away. This one wont go anywhere. He loves his sisters and their both really big dogs. He absolutely LOVES chicken. I can't cook it or eat it with out him smelling it. He'll pretty much eat everything and anything he can beat the dogs to. I love the way Siamese cats sit so perfect like statues. So neat! | |
